Symbolism in God’s Word brings forth intriguing questions to answer…
1/ From Exodus 29:20 someone asked “Why is the blood placed on the ear, thumb, and big toe?”
SEE Exodus 29:19-20 “You shall take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram, (20) and you shall kill the ram and take part of its blood and put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron and on the tips of the right ears of his sons, and on the thumbs of their right hands and on the great toes of their right feet, and throw the rest of the blood against the sides of the altar.
— What are your thoughts? (I ask that you pause before answering, and let your heart reveal the answer.)
(What you hear… Your conversation; What you do… The work of your hands; Where you go… Your walk.)
— All these are to be consecrated to God.

2/ Seeking an understanding of Bible symbolism, “Are we tattooed with God’s name in heaven?”
SEE Revelation 22:3-4 No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. (4) They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
— If the ear symbolizes conversation, the thumb deeds, and the big to our walk, does it not follow that the forehead would symbolize our THOUGHTS. For all who are there will be recognized as God’s children and their thoughts will be continually about worship to Him.

Staying with this scripture Revelation 22:1-7 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. (2) In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (3) And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: (4) And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. (5) And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. (6) And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. (7) Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
3/ What about the “ river of water of life” in vs.1… (What does this symbolize?)
4/ And the “tree of life,” vs. 2… (Why would it be there?)
5/ Do we question how God could be the “light” vs. 5?
6/ How will “His servants shall serve Him” if there are no more sinners to be saved? (vs. 3)
— How do the angels who are already there, serve Him? …SEE Revelations 4:8-11 And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say, “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!” (9) And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, (10) the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying, (11) “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”
— And how do these Bible verses tell how we are to serve Him?
SEE John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. (35) By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
1st John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1st John 4:11-12 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. (12) No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

7/ How about the question, “If we are to reign there”, who are we reigning over vs.5?
— First, I ask you to think about the reign of Christ our example of the ‘KING OF KINGS’. ~ How did He reign over us?
We’ll close with further discussion, and the song ‘All Heaven Declares’
