This allows me to keep the anonymity of the commentor and yet gives me the ability to respond.

Of course I will not respond directly to attacks and insults, as a Christian my Lord’s shield will help me to be unaffected by such.

“I BELIEVE THAT Isaiah 5:18-30 (NLT) IS SO TRUE. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT ALL WHAT IS WRITTEN IS TRUE, I would like to add that recently we are seeing this scripture be more evident in the speech given in the Olympics in France. I am totally seeing the lack of God in this world. I will like to add, Luke 6;26-27. Instead of just relying on the wrong we can be sure that Satan is trying to add anxious thoughts to Christians that have relatives who are not SAVED, OR discourage the young at heart that all is lost. So I will like to see this bible study to end on a hopeful note from Luke 6;26-27 LOVE YOU!”

I wanted the verses of Jeremiah 29:11-13 and 2nd Peter 1:3-8 to be an encouragement, and I like the way they tell us that God has promised us blessings and rewards that He holds in store for us. I also value the fact that these promises contain a factor of ACTION REQUIRED by us.
Jeremiah 29:13 “If you look to me wholeheartedly…”
2nd Peter 1:5 “In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises…” (with the following directives contained in verses 5-8.)

— Thank you for supplementing these promises with another powerful group of action commands God gives us…
“”But I say to you people who are listening to me, love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you. Ask God to bless the people who ask for bad things to happen to you. Pray for the people who are mean to you. If someone hits you on the side of your face, let them hit the other side too. If someone takes your coat, don’t stop them from taking your shirt too. Give to everyone who asks you for something. When someone takes something that is yours, don’t ask for it back. Do for others what you want them to do for you.” (Luke 6:27-31)

— Reading Luke 6 it again makes me so thankful of how God is so consistent and dependable as we see His directives do not change over time or by author of these inspired words. (PS. Love you too! ;<)
