‘Oh Lord Jesus, Holy Child’
Oh Lord Jesus, holy Child,
May you find a room in me.
Master of the meek and mild,
A quiet place I’ve kept for Thee.
Lord sweep away the sin and greed,
Your presence here is all I need.
With thanks and peace for decoration,
I rejoice with you my new creation.
Glory to God in the highest heaven!
God in man, His Son we’re given.
No room for you around these parts?
Perhaps there’s room in humbled hearts.
Thank you, Lord, that none of our children are on the front lines of battle this year, and God look down with mercy upon those that are.
–Lord Jesus we do rejoice with the angels that you agreed to descend to us as a mortal man, knowing full well what that sacrifice meant…
–There is a time to rejoice and a time to mourn, in this Christmas season we take the time to rejoice.
–Lord that first night you found no room at the Inn, may this year you find room in human hearts.
