About being confined here in this life…

Pastor Jim Barber from the TV program Faith to Live By, made this inspirational statement, “We are limited by time, but when we step out of time into eternity, we will no longer know the confines of years, and months, and days. We will be released from that.”

— Does that cause you to look at this life a little differently?

— Does it not ease the aging process?

— Be of GOOD CHEER! For God is not confined by our earthly restrictions, and His will is to set you free as well. So let’s remember to live praising the Lord!

You may ask, “How can I find this peace and security in these terrible times?”
— It can only be found in Jesus. There is no ceremony, no sacrifice, no vow, and no other way. Jesus has sacrificed His all, once for all, and that number includes you. (It doesn’t matter what you’ve done, as long as you are repenting of past sin, and desiring Jesus to be your Lord and leader from this day forward.

Let’s move forward, putting the past behind us.
— Psalm 103:10-13… We sinned against him, but he didn’t give us the punishment we deserved.  (11)  His love for his followers is as high above us as heaven is above the earth.  (12)  And he has taken our sins as far away from us as the east is from the west.  (13)  The LORD is as kind to his followers as a father is to his children.

Finally remember what Jesus said in John 10:9-10… “I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.  (10)  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
