Anthill socialism versus God’s plan for mankind.
From my childhood, I have witnessed the popular groups that stand in opposition to God’s authority. I should explain that I was raised ‘from the cradle’ to be a Christ-follower (Christian), and even in my childhood in the 60’s and 70’s, I therefore was brought up to question the spirit of what was going on around me. For example, as a teenager, I was like everyone else seeking inclusion into the culture of my day. So, against my parent’s wishes, I attended local dances which my friends went to and enjoyed. My best friend Phil went and had a great time just enjoying other teens and the fun, the music and the dancing. I tried to do the same and suffered only rejection of any of the girls that I would ask to dance. So there I was on the sidelines, restricted to only observing and not being able to participate.
As it turned out, this was not a totally bad thing, for from that perspective I was able to witness two social processes happening with my peers. One was a good thing, the process of simple enjoyment and socializing with other young people, like my friend Phil was involved in. There was no harm in that, and it was all that I was wanting to participate in. However as a Christian, God had something more spiritual to teach me. And so I was exposed to the rejection of my peers, for this revealed to me the other side of this worldly socializing.
The other side was ignored by all those who were there simply enjoying themselves. If you are a follower of Jesus, I ask this question for you to think about; Does God care about the rejected and the outsider?
Consider the words of Jesus from Mark 2:13-17 Jesus went back again to the shore of Lake Galilee. A crowd came to him, and he started teaching them. (14) As he walked along, he saw a tax collector, Levi son of Alphaeus, sitting in his office. Jesus said to him, “Follow me.” Levi got up and followed him. (15) Later on Jesus was having a meal in Levi’s house. A large number of tax collectors and other outcasts was following Jesus, and many of them joined him and his disciples at the table. (16) Some teachers of the Law, who were Pharisees, saw that Jesus was eating with these outcasts and tax collectors, so they asked his disciples, “Why does he eat with such people?” (17) Jesus heard them and answered, “People who are well do not need a doctor, but only those who are sick. I have not come to call respectable people, but outcasts.”
— This is another thing which I have heard testimony of, many times in my life, that God reaches those who are feeling outcast, rejected and defeated. For it seems that is the only time we finally in desperation turn back to Him. Yes, God has great compassion for those on the outside looking in.
From the sidelines, God allowed me to see the other darker side of these dance fellowships. For I saw the same girls that rejected an opportunity to go out and dance with me to simply enjoy the music, they now would accept the offer of another teen, and disappear out to the parking lot.
After a while, bored with being unable to participate, I decided to leave. As I made my way back to my car, there they were, sharing a bottle of liquor that was being passed around, and other windows were all steamed up and I knew from many reports, just what was going on in the backseats of those cars. One of my teammates in grade 9 had to get married, because of what went on there.
In my stupidity of youth, I thought to myself, so that is how you attract the attention of other young women, well next time I guess I should bring a bottle myself. Needless to say, that plan also failed me, and God allowed me to see that all I was going to get out of that was more rejection and and a sick stomach.
— WHAT HAS THAT TO DO WITH SOCIALISM AND GOD’S PLAN FOR MANKIND?
I see it this way: God’s word warns us over and over again to beware of following the masses, for they inevitably turn against God. If you don’t believe me I suggest you do a quick study of all the times that God’s chosen people (Israel), got together and decided what plan they wanted to pursue. Then count how many times these plans went against the commands and wishes of God Almighty. (See the account of the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11:1-9 OR The decision of the Jewish nation in Exodus 32:1-16.)
The decisions of mankind rapidly, almost inevitably turn to the negative, for as God’s word warns us, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? I the LORD search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.” (Jeremiah 17:9-10)
Today our society demands that we bow down to whatever the masses say is right and proper… If you are to follow Jesus, you must resist any rule which stands against the commandments of our Savior. To resist this error you MUST KNOW THE WORDS AND TEACHINGS OF JESUS. This will enable you to discern what is truth and what is deception.
— You are not called by God to become an ant in the anthill. You are not called by God to be controlled by your social media groups. YOU ARE CALLED to stand one day, alone before the God who made you, and answer why you did what YOU CHOSE TO DO. (No excuses accepted!)
Today’s world is following the path of destruction. IT IS NOT GETTING BETTER AND BETTER!
— Again, hear the words of Jesus, “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.” (Matthew 7:12-14) – underlined for emphasis… KK
Our anthill is destined for the lake of fire… More will find their way there than will find their way to Heaven’s eternal blessings (See Matthew 7:12-15)… Obey the words of Jesus, “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them…”
– We are not to enter a warfare footing before the lost, even against those who persecute us. We are to follow the example of Jesus and pray for them with compassion, as we are aware, even when they aren’t, of the future that awaits them if they don’t turn and repent.
AGAIN, I MUST INSIST THAT WE OBEY THE WORDS OF JESUS… “So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 10:26-33)
Even sparrows are not just a number to God, how much more valuable is the individual believer?
— Take comfort and great strength in the encouragement from this song…
I sing because I’m happy,
I sing because I’m free,
For His Eye Is On The Sparrow,
And I know He watches me…
Be strong, be courageous, be compassionate, and God will bless and keep you… KK
