A shout-out to a REAL Christian program

I want to give a large shout-out to the amazingly real and powerful Christian TV program Tribal Trails, which can be found on most Canadian TV stations. I would encourage all to take time to tune in there on a regular basis. I sometimes avoid watching their programs and instead record them, and the reason I avoid this is because I know that so often God moves my heart so powerfully that I end up with tears of compassion and love filling my eyes. And another confession… I still feel a bit embarrassed when my heart gets so broken to tears, and yes I know that God is still working to free me from any such embarrassment.
– Anyhow… Here is my latest inspiration found in scriptures from one of their programs…

1st Corinthians 15:56-57… (GNB) “Where, Death, is your victory? Where, Death, is your power to hurt?”  (56)  Death gets its power to hurt from sin, and sin gets its power from the Law.  (57)  But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

— Do you see the amazing truths contained in these verses?

1/ The “sting of death” is its power to hurt… And that power only exists when we die separated from God. For those who are “in Christ”, death is only a graduation to a MUCH BETTER ETERNAL LIFE.

Here’s one that surprised me… (How true justice gives power to the judgment of sin.)

2/ Sin gets its power from the Law… “For all have sinned”, and it is the righteous judgment of God that those who do not repent of these sins will be required by JUSTICE, to answer for them. UNLESS we fall on the MERCY OF GOD TO FORGIVE US – if we will choose to REPENT and turn from those sins.

— I do hope we are all living in a repentant mode so that when we fail to live a perfect life, as we all will repeatedly do, we quickly follow the prodding of God’s Spirit to repent and turn back to follow His Word.
— If you don’t know about God’s call to live a repentant life, now is the time to find out more about it.

— It will start by turning away from a rebellion to God’s Word (the Bible), and in the privacy of your heart and mind asking Jesus to accept you as His forgiven follower and new disciple. A sincere heart will always receive forgiveness and love from our Heavenly Father (SEE John 3:16-18)

— Sorry for the length of this note, but I felt the need to share it with someone. Message me if you wish to talk more about it using the forms provided. (KK)
