3/ How can we find a way to forgive others who hurt us so deeply?

3/ The struggle to let go of the anger because of wrongs done against us… (Our inability to forgive.)

— Before we look further into this struggle, let God’s own words tell us how very serious this issue of forgiveness is to our very salvation. (I point this out not to discourage those who can’t seem to forgive, but instead, I mean to encourage you to earnestly seek from the Lord a remedy for your memories of those injustices… He will hear you and lead you to a pure and holy ability to forgive others.)

— Jesus teaches us how to address God in our prayers from Matthew 6:12-15  Forgive us for doing wrong, as we forgive others.  (13)  Keep us from being tempted and protect us from evil.  (14)  If you forgive others for the wrongs they do to you, your Father in heaven will forgive you.  (15)  But if you don’t forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.

If in our hearts we listen to these instructions from Jesus Himself, then we must place a priority in our lives on finding God’s help to forgive all wrongs done against us by others.

— I cannot give you a secret that you may use to accomplish this, for everyone has varying depths of hurt or injury that others may have caused, and each will need to be personally remedied. Only God knows your hurts, and their depth of injury.

— And your only true and lasting escape from these injuries comes from God’s healing power to make all things new.

— So what can you do? ~ Keep earnestly seeking God’s help in prayer, and as you persist in finding God’s healing in this, I know He will hear you and set you free. (Again God’s word tells us to remember 2nd Corinthians 4:16-18  We never give up. Our bodies are gradually dying, but we ourselves are being made stronger each day.  (17)  These little troubles are getting us ready for an eternal glory that will make all our troubles seem like nothing.  (18)  Things that are seen don’t last forever, but things that are not seen are eternal. That’s why we keep our minds on the things that cannot be seen.)

If you need help to forgive, I would like to join with you in prayer for healing for your thoughts and those memories which we sometimes struggle to put behind us… (KK) Just use the contact links provided, and if you leave me an email address, I won’t put you on any mailing list, but I would like to reply to your request.
