This is our statement of FAITH (What we know of God’s relationship to us.)

— WE BELIEVE the Holy Bible to be the divinely inspired, and authoritative Word of God.

— WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally existent in the Persons of the Holy Trinity. (We believe in the fact that God is The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.)

— WE BELIEVE in the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, His deity, His sinless humanity, and perfect life. (We accept the spiritual understanding of Jesus as part of the Triune God-head as recorded by the apostle John in John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.)

— WE BELIEVE in the eternal all-sufficiency of Christ’s atoning death. (As we accept His death in our place, His sacrifice is the only and the complete answer to our record of sin. Nothing else can or should be added by man as a further requirement of our salvation.)

— WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, His ascension to the Father’s right hand, and His personal coming again. (Just as the angel told it to those believers in Acts 1:11 “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”)

— WE BELIEVE that regeneration by the power of the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation, just as Jesus told Nicodemus... “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’” (John 3:5-7)

— WE BELIEVE God gives us a call to holy living. (As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” 1st Peter 1:14-16)

— WE BELIEVE in the present-day reality of the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and all the gifts of the Holy Spirit, just as Apostle Peter explained, “And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.” (Acts 2:17-18)

— WE BELIEVE in Christ as the head of the Church, and we celebrate this fact by the observance of the ordinances of baptism in water for believers in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as following the command of Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20,And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
— And the Lord’s Supper (Communion). And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.” (Luke 22:19-20)

— WE BELIEVE in the eternal life of the redeemed in heaven and the “second death” of the unsaved in the lake of fire. (And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” (Revelations 21:6-8)

I write below about ‘MY EPIPHANY’ …and that is an interesting word, for the dictionary meaning I am using is “– A sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience.”

I am not writing about a physical manifestation of any sense, it was just one of those EUREKA moments when you see something you never saw that way before.

My Epiphany… God gave me this revelation of understanding, to help me comprehend the lost.

— Fools say to themselves, “There is no God!” They are all corrupt, and they have done terrible things; there is no one who does what is right. The LORD looks down from heaven at us humans to see if there are any who are wise, any who worship him. (Psalm 14:1-2)

All my writing and preaching accomplishes nothing if you don’t believe there is a God.

— That gave me real compassion and sympathy for any who are so very lost and greatly deceived.

— And so we Christians seem to need books so that we can argue that God exists.

I find it shocking that Christians need books other than the Bible to help prove that their God exists.

— Have you not met with HIM? How can you believe in someone you’ve never met? (Belief here means to know what a person is about and what their purpose is.)

— We talk about our faith as a RELATIONSHIP… and it truly must be or otherwise you are just involved in a RELIGION, of whatever social value that is.

— It can only be a RELATIONSHIP if you have in truth encountered Him.

— And if you have MET HIM, why do you need another book to tell you how to prove HE EXISTS? Haven’t you had personal experiences that you can testify to yourself?

Do we really believe that you can argue and debate a person into any belief? – Jesus said, “People cannot come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me…”

My whole life and ministry stand on the basis that GOD DOES EXIST… As Paul wrote in 1st Corinthians 15:12-14 Now, since our message is that Christ has been raised from death, how can some of you say that the dead will not be raised to life? If that is true, it means that Christ was not raised; and if Christ has not been raised from death, then we have nothing to preach and you have nothing to believe.

— If there is no God then there is no Christ, and all I have shared with you and others is worthless, and you are wasting your time reading this.

However, I KNOW THERE IS A GOD! — He has proven He exists… Can you say the same? If not, you need to SEEK HIM UNTIL YOU FIND HIM, FACE TO FACE! (SEE Deuteronomy 4:29 There you will look for the LORD your God, and if you search for him with all your heart, you will find him.)

How can anyone explain away the fact of how I, as an eight-year-old, lay screaming in my bed, head about to burst with the pain, until my God-believing father laid hands on me and prayed. Then in the middle of that dark night, two hours by bush road away from any medical help, some unseen hands took me up and seemingly wrapped me in a warm soft blanket, (in a spiritual sense) and I fell immediately back to quiet sleep, only to awaken the next day with my pillow soaked in a brownish, stinking fluid, and yet without any further pain. Two weeks I slept with a cloth under that abscess burst ear draining to a “gurgle, gurgle” all night long. And I have never had an earache or toothache since.

— Try and tell me a prayer-answering God does not exist!

A year later that same child at a cub-scout camp at a lake, searches the beach for a lost Timex watch. He’s spent the evening before, until curfew, searching that beach with no result. Waking after hardly sleeping at all, and after hours of prayerfully reminding an unseen God that His word says, “Seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened, ask and it shall be given”.

— And he sneaks out at daybreak to resume his search on that beach, until the call to breakfast is heard, and he must go in. So this nine-year-old tells this unseen God that if His words are not true, then he will not follow Him anymore. Then he lays out the terms of his childlike faith, and insists that if he doesn’t find that watch with this last search heading towards the breakfast call, he will then know God’s words are not true, and this child cannot have faith in His Bible or a God that lies. So as this child reaches those last few steps before turning away from God, the rising sun catches a glimmer in the sand the size of a matchhead. Bending down to brush away the sand, he finds his Timex watch, dry, undamaged, and returned to its grateful owner… by prayer.

— Rejoicing in his heart that GOD IS, and that He hears the prayer of a child, he runs to answer his breakfast call.

— You tell me, some sixty years later, “God does not exist”!

I could go on and on of answered prayer to that unseen God… But I will close with that same young boy, grown now, disillusioned, discouraged, feeling a total failure to all those he holds dear. He now stands on a high cliff above the rocks of a raging river, hanging onto a small tree, contemplating the last few moments of life on this earth.

— All he needs to do now is let go, and everyone will think he fell. His loved ones will be spared the stigma of what he is intending to do. One last cry comes as he cannot seem to let go, “God, I’ve messed it up so. I’ve failed in all my aspirations to be a hero and to bless my loved ones and family, I give up, I can’t even let go and end it all. If you want what’s left of my life it’s yours.”

— Then it seems he hears a quiet voice saying, “Ken, that is all I’ve been waiting to hear.” And Jesus picks up that broken young life, gives this 19-year-old a new purpose and hope.

— It is true, “Today is the first day of the rest of your life”… When you turn, in repentance and come back to your creator.

— He loves you so… He is watching over you, and waiting for you to yield to His love. You need to come back home to Him today… I did.

Then, as with myself, you will experience God… He will lead you, teach you, and answer YOUR PRAYERS. …Then let someone come and tell you, “There is no God!”

YOU WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO SAY… For the proof is in the living!

I hope this is a blessing to you. Years ago now, the Holy Spirit would not let me sleep unless I wrote this down… And I still believe someone out there needs to hear it today. Let me know if I can pray for you. …In the love of Christ, KK

If you want to know a bit about my roots, and how I came by my calling… I have a brief summary posted on this link.
